We met in Cebu, PH in 2022 during my South East Asia trip. We travelled around the Philippines together for a couple weeks. visiting Bantayan Island, Bohol, Boracay and Manila. I went on to Cambodia and Thailand and then returned to see her before going home. We started dating officially and Angel started Nursing School in August of 2022. Since then I have visited her 2-3 times a year. We have travelled to Bali, Singapore, Thailand and Cambodia together. And everywhere we go, Elijah is in tow.

Trying to plan a proposal at the right time and in the right place is truly difficult. We flew to Siagao Island, PH to relax with our friends and I thought this would be a perfect place to propose. I picked Catanangnan-Cabitoonan Bridge which is a somewhat crowded Bridge known for Sunsets. Thats when Angel mentioned in passing that anywhere crowded was a bad idea because she wanted it to be intimate.
Cut to a nice afternoon of Drinks and relaxing on the Porch of our rented House. Eli was down for his nap and it occured to me that now was the perfect time. I motioned to my friend to take video and went in to our room for the Ring. I came out and got down on one knee. The rest is captured in the pictures above, including the filipina slap.
